for what it's worth, I'd like to add my two cents... bear in mind that I have a strong preference for hotels that are not part of a huge chain. Grand Hyatt and Shangri-La are comfortable, but rather cookie-cutter, particularly for a frequent traveller. I'd rather stay in a boutique hotel given the choice. Now...
