Stayed at the Sheraton for 2 weeks on business, and was happy with the service overall. Good service and smiles in the lobby. The lobby seemed quite new compared to others such as Westin and Howard. Hotel rooms are comparable. The breakfast buffets were ok for the price. Convenience can't be beat - there's an mtr station a few steps... more

I stayed for four nights on business in Taiwan and was impressed by the Sheraton. The staff are diligent and polite. The hotel is well maintained and has all the features of a good business hotel. The meals are excellent - but travellers paying for breakfast themselves might like to venture across the side street to McDonalds to save money.... more

This place is top-notch. Everything you'd expect from a luxury hotel. Our room was serene and the bathroom was amazing. The service was also incredible: there were English-speaking staff, of course. We had left behind our battery charger, and they kept it for us for several days until we were able to return and pick it up. Also, my father... more

Hotel is OK if you are there on Business, but if you are looking for a casual family holiday don't go here. For the Business person it would probably be great. Restraurants were very expensive inside the Hotel, outside were more reasonable. Taxis were cheap. I made the fatal mistake of wandering up to the Tailor Shop, with a request... more

I am glad I 'defected' from my regular hotel at the Taipei Main Station to check out the Sheraton Taipei located atop the Shandao Shi Station. It is very difficult to find fault with this hotel in terms of location, staff, ambience, rooms and dining options. I had a great experience from check-in to check-out after spending three nights in... more

This hotel was renovated a few years ago and the public areas and rooms generally look great. The bathrooms were redone especially well and the large flat-screen TV's (with excellent channel choices) are a nice addition. What I don't understand is why the hard mattresses (and I mean hard as I awoke daily aching and hurting) were not replaced with... more

Best describe of this place is a true 5 stars. We were changed from a deluxe room to a premier room because the staff noticed our starwood-preferred membership. The entire hotel is newly renovated and the room itself is just gorgeous. Everything is so modern with a touch of Asian style. We tried 5 restaurants in the hotel (Italian, Thai,... more

Being a Taiwanese, living overseas, I cannot help drooling thinking about the food from the hotel! It's famous for a good reason! With over a handful of amazing cuisines, some of the best and most well known on the island, drawing lots of local people. Taiwanese people are so passionate and picky with food and it's indeed their favorite dinner... more

This hotel is a mix of contrast. Very beautifully decorated public areas match with a very bare room. An excellent club lounge and services that should have rewarded hotel guests with a great stay was spoiled by an unexpected problem ( more on that later ). As my 2nd visit to Taipei but my first visit to Taipei on vacation,... more

The room i had was on the 16th floor, quite spacious. loved the bathroom design. i found the... more
