I spent a week at the Sherwood Taipei and found the hotel to be a world-class business hotel. The staff is extraordinarily courteous; everyone spoke very good English and service was very prompt. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in 3 years. Everything was perfect except the Chinese dishes at B-One buffet (breakfast). As a 5 star hotel, it is unacceptable to have canned food for Chinese conge. I have complained 3 times, hopefully, this time they will listen....... more

Stayed at the Sherwood for a short stop over (over night only) in September. Upon arrival I found the lobby quiet and clean and the receptionists very helpful and efficient. Almost has a family-run feel. Largish rooms for Asia and yet cosy. Lacks good restaurants except Toscana that does a good ‘antipasti buffet’. Bar is a comfy place. One of Taipei's better hotels. more

Lived in Taipei from 2002-2005 - the Sherwood's Toscana Restaurant is terrific - Italian and Western Food dishes - a bit pricey, but well worth the visit. more
