I've stayed at several Grand Hyatt hotels across the world and this one does not stack up against the others. The lobby is impressive and the overall service is good, but the rooms leave much to be desired. I stayed on the "executive" floor, so I can't imagine what the other rooms are like. You know you're in a Chinese-owned 5* hotel when an abundance of marble and granite is randomly peppered with steel, brass and gold plated fixtures.
