My second stay here was one week in 2 bedroom dlx. Package included daily bf for two. The room as expected very comfortable with two nice sized bedroom and bath with rainshower. Location is fine - short walk to BTS or taxi always easy to get. The pool area is very nice with sun exposure in daytime. Cascade Health Club... more

As a regular visitor to Bangkok, we've stayed at a few Apartment Hotels - usually one of the CenterPoint chain. Our Thai friends recommended Ascott Sathorn Reception / Check In. Impressive lobby and an efficient service from the moment the taxi door opened to our suitcases arriving in the room. The Room. Even by Bangkok standards our premium one bedroom... more

We booked a Bangkok Getaway 1 bedroom premier for 3 nights and it was perfect. Arriving at Bangkok Airport and there was someone waiting for us to bring us to our limousine. Cold bottled water in the car. We arrived in the morning at the hotel and our room wasnt' ready yet so the offered us breakfast. After half an... more

What bliss. A real first-class hotel which holds all it promises on the website and more. We booked a studio apartment with an extra bed for our daughter and it was beautiful, with a top view over Bangkok. The fridge was stocked with complimentary milk, soft drinks, juice and there was a fruit basket and a basket full of cookies,... more

My group of five spent three nights there from 20-23 Dec 2007. Three of us had a two-bedroom apartment while the other two a one-bedroom unit. The Ascott Sathorn is a good change from the claustrophobic, bed+desk+bathroom setup of a typical hotel room. I strongly recommend it for families and groups - you get a living room and open kitchenette... more

I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Ascott Sathorn. I made my reservation a couple of days in advance via Wotif, for a studio room. I was attracted by the generally good reviews, the overall reputation of the Ascott group, and finally that the rate was a good 30-50% less than many of the 5-star hotels... more

I stayed at the Ascott Sathorn for 4 days during my last business trip to Bangkok (my office is just two blocks away from it). It was not my prefered and first choice but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room is very spacious. I was upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom apartment. Personally, I find... more

Stayed here for a week. Absolutely everything was top notch (except for Hu'u restaurant - see below). Staff very pleasant, everyone greets you in that nice Thai way and always asking if they can help and checking on your experience / satisfaction. Room was HUGE. Too much for the time being spent but spotlessly clean. Provided two bottles of water... more

The Ascot is one of Bangkok's more exculsive serviced apartments, but I am not sure if I would stay there again. Pros: 1. Room is nice (we booked a studio & were upgraded to a one-bedroom) if not too large 2. Decor is very modern, all the fittings are new and impressive (including a TV, DVD with surround and a... more

On our second visit this year to Bangkok we again stayed at the Ascott. Despite minor things the stay can only be described as a true vacation. The rooms are large with every amenity: DVD, CD, washer/dryer, welcome drink/snack basket. The smallest studios are huge and the housekeeping perfect. The Cascade Club Gym and spa are in fact a private... more
