My boyfriend and me spent our first days in Thailand at Parami Guesthouse and it gave us a warm welcome, very helpful staff, Roger, the owner, has always time for a chat, gives you good advices. Thanx to him we went into areas almost where we were the only tourists, only locals there (and soooo friendly, nice...), thanx to him... more

I Loved the Parami Guesthouse! You get so much more than you pay for. The staff was so helpful and eager to help my vacation be all that it could be. They helped me book some tours and even packed my breakfast up for me when I was running late. I went as a lone traveler and I would highly... more

We found this guesthouse on the internet. We booked a twin room with private toilet and shower via email on very short notice. Roger , the owner, replied immediately and also had a room available for us. Staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean. and the house itself is gorgeous, with great care for details. Still, as we... more

We were travelling with 2 kids, 10 and 13 years old and looking for a place that was inexpensive, but clean and comfortable. Parami was everything we needed and more! My kids said that Parami had the most comfortable beds in Thailand (high praise indeed) and the best showers! We had two rooms upstairs and we absolutely loved the decor,... more

We were happy with the location and price. However, (and unfortunately for the owner) the house is really old, the walls are paper thin, and the room was very smelly & musty. No amount of 'professional' friendliness could make up for this. We checked out next day and found much better much cheaper accommodation near by. You just need to... more

Roger and Aree of Parami guesthouse are two of the best, friendly and most trustworthy hosts we encountered during our stay in Thailand. We had an absolutely fabulous stay at their beautiful guesthouse, and felt right at home. Upon arrival, our room was not available. but Roger invited us to sit down and relax with a drink while they prepared... more

we didn't know much about chiangmai before we actually got there. choice of accomodation was then a game of luck. we didn't want to get accomodations in the city or near the bazaars, because those places were too "touristy". if you prefer a feel of the local lifestyle, and enjoy the slow and relaxed pace of life, this guest house... more

Stayed at Parami mid-June for a few nights. Roger, family and staff were very friendly and helpful. For e.g. when we mentioned our concern about mosquitoes in the room, they offered to spray a round of insecticide while we were out and then left some mosquito coils burning just outside our door. We were given a 1litre bottle of water... more
