The Hotel: The hotel was lovely but poor value compared to other hotels in Vietnam. Spa and salon was nice but hard to get an appointment. One of the reception staff was snobby (maybe I mis understood him)?. The bar in the lobby was riduculously expensive compared to outside the hotel. Outside the Hotel: There are some nice restaurants near... more

Just returned with my family of five from a week's stay at the Hilton Hanoi. A decent property though like the previous reviewer mentioned, the dated looking TV stood out like a sore thumb. Anyway, we were suppose to be in Hanoi for a holiday and not for its TV programmes right? Staff are polite and efficient in dealing with... more

After a grueling week in the northern region of Vietnam, we decided to book a night at the Hilton before our flight the next morning for some comfort. Upon our arrival, we immediately got the offer to take care of our suitecase. Since we travel light, we decline the offer. As a Hilton's top tiered member, we were directed to... more

Hotel was very nice. Service, restaurants, spa and business lounge were all terrific. Not in love with the hard beds, but seems to be a standard in Asia. more

I recently stayed at Hilton Hanoi Opera & cannot tell you what an amazing Hotel it is. The staff are the friendliest I have ever encountered. We went to Sofitel Metropole to have a look around and had a drink and cannot tell you how rude they were. We also had a dinner at Intercontinental and what can you say... more

The hotel is beautiful. It is in a great location--by the Old Quarter right next to the Opera House. It is an easy walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. They easily booked tours and helped to get taxis and provided great directions. It is easy to exchange currency here. The restaurant serves an amazing buffet... more

Considering it was Hanoi the impression was that the room was a little pricey. When we entered, the room appeared a little small but it had a nice view of the Opera house. The staff were very helpful and the computer database giving information about restaurants was very useful. The location was excellent! I also enjoyed the guitar ensemble in... more

After some really terrible experiences with other hotels in Hanoi, we decided to stay at the Hilton. And I must say, this was really one of the best hotels I stayed in. In the US, these hotels are often run down so I was a bit sceptical at first whether to try or not. However, I was positively surprised. The... more

Booked two separate nights at the Hilton in March. On arrival the first night, they were over booked. However received a 'rock star' welcome and after profuse apologies I was whisked in the new BMW 5 series to the Metropole. Every wish was taken care of and on return to the Hilton I was upgraded to a club room and... more
