Room was a little small but very clean. Nice decor etc, bathroom basic but enough. The staff are great and the food was fine but about double what you pay in one of the many local cafes just around the corner. Biggest problem was overweight balding western men hanging out in the pool with young ( very young) local sex... more

A lovely relaxed and friendly oasis. Staff very friendly; breakfasts were excellent; standard rooms a little small but compact; deluxe room had no wardrobe or chairs; had to use a glass cabinet for clothes storage? very convenient for the central market and shops; swimming pool was excellent; would recommend and visit again. more

We booked a standard pool view room for $39US per night. In the 7 weeks of travelling through Indo China this hotel was our worst experience. The Hotel rooms are so small there is almost no room for luggage, We paid extra for a pool view room however there is no view at all from the room and to look... more

Stayed here with my wife and kids (ages 3 & 9) at the start of August. I researched about 15 places in PP before booking and chose this place because of the reviews / location / price. Probably the best value for $$ in Phnom Penh. Truly a little oasis with the nice poolside restaurant. Breakfast is worth whatever you... more

Stayed at the Billabong in late July.. Lucky to get a room considering it was the off season.. Staff were very helpful, great breakfast to start the day and nice cocktails to finish off after a dip in the pool.. A couple of families there during my stay made the place feel homely... Internet was a bit wonky at times,... more

Good hotel. We stayed in a superior room for 4 days - if you can afford the extra money it is definitely worth it. Pool is a great oasis from the busy outdoor world. Food is good but pricey in comparrison to the restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend this hotel. more

Turned out to be a disappointment from the pics. The std rooms was small and location was isolated. Had 2 power failures (once while showering b4 the gen-set kicked in) during our 2 nights stay b4 we checked out to New York Hotel which was much better. Toilet does not have toiletries x'cpt for a bar of soap and towels. Checked... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Billabong with our 2 children, mainly because of the pool as they seem a bit thin on the ground in Phnom Penh for our price range. The room was nicely decorated and it had a nice balcony. The bathroom was a bit of a mess, just a shower on the wall that wet the... more

The Billabong is very clean and inexpensive. The rooms are small, but nicely decorated. You are in the city, so noise is to be expected. The staff is very nice and helpful. the food at the cafe is not good. The primary reason to stay somewhere else is that the hotel allows sex tourists to use their pool for a... more
