A beautiful old style hotel with the friendliest of staff - nothing too much trouble. Made us feel very welcome. The food was good with an excellent choice of dishes. Perhaps some of the furnishings in our room were in need of updating but they suited the age of the property and the beds were extremely comfortable. more

Hi, I stayed at GFH for 14 nights in the new wing "Regency". I really enjoyed it. Most of the staff were friendly except for one or two front desk people who were a bit otherwise.
