Having arrived on the evening of Independence Day, with indescriminate terrorist attacks by the Tamil Tigers the Cinnamon Grand was a welcome relief. We have been there for two nights on our journey to Sri Lanka, it is really a wonderful hotel, two swimming pools, five restaurants and a small spa with sauna, turkish bath and a big hot jacuzzy.
