Nice little hotel in Selcuk. Can walk to the Ephesus ruins in about 35 minutes (either go down to the main road, turn right, then right again at the traffic light, or the back way, go left from the hotel, then left at the bottom of the hill by the Mosque towards the main road then right). The Hotel owner... more

We chose Hotel Bella based on the recommendations of friends and Lonely Planet. We were not disappointed. The hotel is modestly priced, the location central, and our host was very helpful, retrieving something we had mislaid, arranging transport to and from Ephesos, and advising on shops where we might find specific items. We travel regularly, and always aim to stay... more

We booked Hotel Bella based on great reviews on tripadvisor & weren't disappointed. Positives: - super friendly & helpful owners who helped us with bus tickets, tours & general info - free transport to Ephaseus, bus station etc - yummy dinners (roughly 7 euros for 3 course meal). Yes, you will get cheaper stuff in town, but the food was... more

Hotel Bella is a terrific option for people staying in Selcuk - it is clean, very reasonably priced, and will provide you fond memories of the kind owners. If you're in Selcuk, you're most likely there to see Ephesus -- a few other sites in town, but not much worth travelling for. The Bella offers a handy shuttle bus to/from... more

In 40+ years of travel, I haven't ever stayed in a place like Hotel Bella. Bella is a small place with servicable rooms, nicely decorated with rugs that one of the owners buys from nomadic tribes in eastern Turkey. The location is great, just a few hundred yards from the ruins of the Basilica of St. John (grave of the... more

This hotel is written up as a mid range hotel in Lonely Planet. The rooms we were placed in for two people, single beds, were impossibly small for comfort. We requested a larger room and were placed in a "larger" room for the second night. This was marginally bigger but still not comfortable. The bathroom was equally small and not... more

We stayed at Hotel Bella for one night in late May, and were very happy with it. The owner/manager Erdal was very personable and informative about the area and Ephesis, and drove us to near-by Seven Sleepers for a lunch of gozelme (a neat experience and good food), in addition to driving us to and from Ephesis, with the loan... more

This hotel rightly deserves it's place as #1 in Selcuk on Trip Advisor. Great position, Friendly and helpful advise, free travel around the town, good carpet shop attached if required, but not pushy. The rooftop terrace and the food was what set this hotel apart for us. We stayed for two nights and at most places, one is tempted to... more

My friend and I spent two nights at the Hotel Bella and could not have been more impressed. The room, although small, was spotless and attractively decorated. The price was excellent - 50 YTL/night for two single beds. The rooftop terrace provided a cozy atmosphere and an amazing view. The food was also great but what really set the Hotel... more

The hotel is really made by the two guys who run it. From great local advice, to sharing a sheeshah with you, the driving you essentially everywhere...they are true workaholics to make sure your trip to ephesus/selchuk is the best it can be. The terrace of the hotel with a birds eye view of a storks nest is excellent for... more
