We desperately needed accommodation at the last minute, having decided to return to Jerusalem for our last three nights. The Gloria Hotel managed to squeeze us in. Our room was quite small, with twin beds, desk, and one chair, but was more than adequate considering we spent all our time out of the hotel. The bathroom was huge, with a... more

I stayed one night at the Gloria Hotel, after experiencing the awful New Imperial Hotel. The Gloria is definitely the best quality/price ratio of any hotel I have visited. Truly, you can easily find better, more luxurious, but for 120$ a two-bed room, including breakfast, this hotel has it all: clean, friendly personnel, good breakfast, tastefully decorated, air-conditioned room, real... more

We stayed at the Gloria for 16 nights while in Jerusalem. It was great to be staying in the Old City, very convenient location. The hotel staff was gracious, eager to help, and very accomodating of our needs. The food was excellent - particularly the dinners, a great spread of delicious choices. Rooms were more modern than I'd expected while... more

Everyone at the Gloria is helpful and courteous. They do their best to accommodate the needs and desires of their customers. I led a group of 14 that stayed at the Gloria for three weeks. Everyone agreed the hospitality shown was excellent, the food was excellent (the price includes breakfast and dinner each day!), the accommodations were fun (the Gloria's... more

My family and I stayed at the Gloria in June 2008. We can't believe that for $100/night, we could stay within the walls of the Old City in such a pleasant hotel with a fantastic atmosphere. If we had stayed at the larger hotels, we would have walked 15 minutes or more just to get to the Old City--and paid... more

My husband and I stayed at the Gloria at the end of March, around Easter and were pleasantly surprised. When we arrived into Tel Aviv, we immediately were able to find a minibus to Jerusalem, which pulled up virtually right outside the hotel. It was so easy to find; there is a big brown sign for the Gloria Hotel, just... more

I stayed at the Gloria for one week as a last-minute changeover from another hotel. The two men who run the hotel were as nice and helpful and accomodating as could be. They obviously care very much about their guests. Originally they only had a room available for five nights, when I needed one for seven. With the hotel crammed... more

I had the privelege of staying in the ultra re vamped gloria, having read reviews that I was expecting to cart luggage up a flight of stairs to be greeted by some old lady! Nonsense, straight in from the cobbled old world street left from the Jaffa Gate and Tower of David to a warm welcome of an obviously up dated... more

The gloria hotel far exceded our expectations! Location is excellent, inside the old city, perfect for those wanting to experience the vibrant culture of Jerusalem. All staff were super polite, especially the lovely lady who assisted us greatly in booking some tours. Food was great too - also great service! When I return to Jerusalem, I will not stay anywhere... more
