An amazing honeymoonWe stayed at this hotel one night and it was awful. The only good thing was the location to the beach. We just went there and got plastered. The beach was so beautiful! Nobody slept. more
Imagine booking 30 rooms for a Bar Mitzvah and then finding one review after another on Tripadvisor saying the hotel is a hell-hole. Okay, probably I should have checked the site first, but that was our predicament and I'm happy to say the Grand Beach turned out to be a delight. The hotel's managers acknowledged its shortcomings from the past... more
I stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel in January 2000, July 2001 and September 2003. Everytime i stayed there for one or two nights because i was either arriving in Israel for a trip or coming back home to my country. I always well treated and the hotel staff were always very nice to me. Considering that i would be... more
We were looking for a good but not expensive hotel in Tel Aviv for a week. We found the Grand Beach Hotel on the Web. We came back very satisfied. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The rooms are newly renovated, very nice, clean and very comfortable. We had LCD TV, a safe comfortable beds. All new and fresh. The... more
The hotel was not worth the price. The lobby is very deceiving; it’s the nicest part of the hotel. During my stay one of the elevators was broken. I was there for 4 nights and it still was not fixed. The elevators were extremely slow; it was faster to take the stairs. Also several members in my group got stuck... more
Stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv. I have never encountered a worse Hotel in all my life and I have toured the World on various Business trips. The Staff were totally uninterested in our complaints regarding the state of the rooms which were at best dirty, at worst disgusting. I would advise that any person seeking a... more
Just back from a two day trip to the Tel Aviv, staying at the Grand Beach. The rooms we had were small and worst of all dirty. I resent having to kill cockroaches before I can occupy the room. Reception were disinterested, although the General Manager was apologetic. Food average to poor. Can find no reason to recommend this unless... more
To start with, the name. It does not lie on the beach and is over 5 mins walk from the main beach, although some smaller ones are closer. The location as a whole is a bit far north of the main tourist areas of tel Aviv although it is closer to the renovated ports district. "Renovated": the bar area and... more
We stayed at the Grand Beach for 2 nights in January. We choose the Grand Beach because it seemed like a decent hotel, and most importantly, it was Glatt Kosher. It was not the 4 star hotel advertised. The hotel was older. It was not really on the beach. We had "sort of" a beach view from our rooms. It... more
The Grand Beach Hotel is on Ha-Yarkon Street, across the street from the beach and Independence Park. It's a good, fairly sizable hotel but not all that remarkable. more
