We found the palace hotel to be very friendly, pretty clean and in a good location. the staff spoke english and were happy to arrange tours elsewhere throughout Jordan. there is a sociable eating area and a decent, cheap breakfast is on offer. the room had TV and ensuite and was fairly quiet. there is also internet access on site.... more

Well, if you want ultra cheap and minimal standards, you got it. The lobby is fairly decent with a chandalier! But the luxury stops there...the rooms have rock hard beds, satellite TV, balconies, showers over the toilet, little to no airconditioning/heater, and lots of street pollution flowing into the room.
