Normally I check Trip Advisor before I book a hotel, and normally this will guide my selection, in this case I was aaway and one of my staff booked the rooms (9) when I read reviews I was ready to cancel but no other hotel had 9 rooms so I let the booking stand. We arrived at what is a... more

In a city with very expensive hotels, the SAS Radisson will deliver what you want for the best price. It does not have a great location for exploring the Old Town, but for modern conveniences, good everyday eating, you won't do better for the money in Muscat. more

I have stayed in hotel twice now, one two week stay and a month stay. I found the staff very courteous throughout and always with a nice greeting. The highway work at the rear of the hotel is now complete and the peace and tranquillity returned. I found the food first class with plenty of choice, the breakfast has an... more

Hmmmm. Where to begin? Price - outrageous Staff - disinterested Odour - smoke, smoke, smoke, did I mention the smoke? Decor - 1982 Breakfast - passable Location - crap Noise - unbearable Cleaniness - dubious Some of the lowlights were: asking for a map of the area (so I could get out of the hotel), only to be asked to... more

I stayed at the Radisson Muscat for 2 nights on a business trip and compared to other Radisson hotels where I previously stayed, this one was somehow disappointing. I had room service once (it is now Ramadan) and the food was not properly cooked. I called room service again and politely explained I could not eat that meat - no... more

I stayed at the Radisson SAS, Oman for four nights as part of a business trip. The hotel lobby area was clean and the check in process was quick and efficient. I stayed in a twin bed standard room. The room was basic but clean, with a nice bathroom. The room was cleaned regularly. The hotel is in a funny... more

This was my first time at this hotel and I was very disappointed. Having stayed, previously at the Al Busthan and Intercontinental, this hotel is definitely not in the same league. The rooms and bathrooms are small with threadbare carpets. My electricity was cut off for a while, but it was rectified quickly after calling reception. The lobby is very... more

Bedsheets stained, clearly not changed, carpet long overdue a vacuum (previous occupants used toothpicks by the bed) and bathroom filthy with overgrowing mould. A pity as the pool/garden area is OK and the gym up to standard. However, there are far nicer places to stay in Oman. Avoid if you can!! more
