It has taken me a while to write this review because I sit in bewilderment at the raves bestowed upon this "hotel". I put "hotel" in quotes, because it is NOT a hotel. We stayed here 2 nights. Visited Punta del Este in late Nov when not much was open yet so the fact that this was close to LaBarra and the nightlife didn't make a difference for us because nothing was going on! Very few restaurants open and no nightlife going on. The beach that this is near is not the best... more

We had the most amazing stay at Hotel La Bluette this summer!!! Warmth and atmosphere were off the charts. The best service, best beaches, best location in Punta. The owner's hospitality is top class; they made us feel like their most special guests. I recommend it to all travelers looking for an unforgettable vacation!!! more
