Aside from the attractive garden setting, this hotel was a major disappointment, and we found it to be very overpriced for the money. The Pansea has a beautiful setting with a pond on one side and swimming pool on the other side of a long, wooden plank that takes you to the reception area. In the centre of town, but in very quiet surroundings we had a wonderful experience. The staff was mote then helpful, breakfast buffet excellent and the building and garden especially at night with all the little lights a dream. A definate must go! more

We love the colonial building an the huge garden. After sightseeing, we liked to swim in the big pool and relax on the sunlounger. Food is european (french, italian) and asia. We stayed at the Governors residence during November 2005. The hotel is a wonderful quiet oasis. Rooms are large with good amenities and they take credit cards. Breakfast on the porch overlooking the grounds is a pleasant and relaxing way to start the day. more

The Pansea is certainly the worst value for money : my room was more than dirty, full of dust, windows were so dirty. TV was not working upon arrival.
