I stayed here for 2 nights and found the hotel to be more than adequate though not quite a 5 star standard. The hotel itself is of an older design something like 60's and 70s I think but has been well maintained. The rooms could do with a refresher and updating but they certainly were of a reasonable size and... more

Met at the airport by hotel limo meant missing all the queues through passport control. Excellent suite overlooking Nile and crowds of celebrating Egyptians who had just won Football championship! Rather basic restaurant. Easy to walk across to Cairo Museum. Pleasant pool area. more

Last Night , i booked two places at El Mojito, nile hilton , to have dinner, really this is the worst place you can go ever, very poor service and attitude, they were very late in delivering our food even i asked for a bottle of water , it comes after 25 minutes!!!! the food was served after 50 minutes... more

We have recently ended a two week holiday in Luxor and as part of the holiday we spent a day in Cairo to see the obligatory sights. We did not enjoy Cairo one bit, infact words cannot describe how much we hated the place. We visited the Pyramids and then the Egyption Museum. We were very unhappy at the way... more

We chose the Nile Hilton as a short stay following on from a nile cruise. When staying in cairo you have to chose whether you would like to be in Giza (near pyramids) or in the city centre. The Nile hotel is in the city centre and it is suberbly placed to visit the Egyptian museum. This museum is like... more

This hotel is fine if you are looking for a decent hideaway from the bustle of Cairo. As you enter the hotel your car is stopped and searched by a sniffer dog. Also you must pass through a metal detector when entering the lobby. The lobby is very nice with lots of check in staff available and also a concierge... more

solid hilton but staff (concierge) don't speak english well and try to steer to high priced tours, from which they get a kick back. Expected more for the 200USD per nite. It was still cheaper than other top hotels - would only stay here again if was cheaper than sheraton, hyatt, mariott, etc... more

My wife and I booked a stay at the Nile Hilton in Cairo for three nights, two at the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. The hotel is in a great central location for Cairo overlooking the Nile River. It is also across the street from the Egytian Museum which is a must see for any... more

Stayed in this hotel after doing a week on Nile Cruise. This Hotel lives upto the Hilton groups reputation. The room we had was a very spacious nile view. The food in the many restaurants was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is situated in Downtown and 2 mins away from the Cairo museum. Would certainly... more

I went to this hotel with 5 other family members and we all loved it, it added that great touch of class we were dying for. The reception I admit did take their time checking in, but the catering staff were very professional and always put the customer first. Evidently though it is a lot cheaper to eat out of... more
