The room reeked of smoke. even though non-smoking was requested. There was black hair all over the old, heavily stained carpet, in addition to thick black dust along the edges of the room, which was clearly not vacuumed prior to our arrival. The Sheraton is a 2 towers hotel very close to the Nile. 5 minutes to the next metro station, 15 minutes to the Egyptian museum. Rooms are big even if a bit "old style". Lobby is very nice and has some convenient shops inside (newspapers, clothes...). more
