This is rated a 4 Star, believe it or not, by the Egyptian tourism board but I can't give it any more than 1 star, if at all. Everything is falling apart and really dirty. I've stayed in better 2-3 Star hotels in Cairo. Don't stay here!!! more

if i had seen other reviews before i booked i would never had stayed in the Europa hotel. It is dirty very noisy and a health and safety nightmare,We stayed away from the breakfast which is very limited and not very appetising.I would give it one star. more

first i dont know what can i say about his hotel but for every one from my openion u can find agood service from the reception and the mantinance and also from the resturant but u can not find any service from the house keeping .never any good service may b w can say that europa hotel it have agood... more

I appeal to you not to go there, this not a 3 or 4 star hotel. The decor is falling apart holes in the wall, some wires sticking out, probably 1/2 star, bathrooms are shabby, no air conditioning so it was 28 degrees in our room, the pool must have been disused for over a year. Overall impression: neglected. I had a room on the 8th floor in the front of the hotel - constant very loud street noise even with window "shut". Roaches in room, especially in bathroom. The room were large, once quite nice many years ago...the water was not working, the plumbing stank, sheets did not fit the beds, heaters did not work, and bribes had to be paid for room cleaning that did not include vacumming, or dusting. Well we spent 2 weeks at the europa hotel. When we booked the hotel it was listed as 4 star. this was way out 3 star at a push. The shower water pressure was so bad we gave up trying to shower and ran baths which took a good hour to run. We kept having to remind them to change... more
