The hotel is in a very inconvenient location for exploring Cairo. It's a lot way out of the city centre, and there's really nothing interesting nearby. Just returned to UK after a stay at Zayed. The people were lovely, food good and comfy beds. The lifts were a bit confussing as couldn't open the door and the floors ate a bit maze like...but that added to the ambiance! I'll saty there again! Catherine x more

The hotel staff could not have been more helpful or more friendly - bags were carried by an army of smartly dressed porters, the reception manager ordered taxis, changed money, booked extra nights, and direct edme to a police station (to report a previous theft)... more

We stayed two nights at the Zayed. The hotel was a bit difficult to find, especially when the flight to Cairo arrives at 04:00.
