We arrived at the Meridian for a five night stay before heading on to Sharm. Our check in at this hotel was quick and efficient and we were in our room within five minutes and our luggage followed right behind. We found the hotel to be clean and a high standard. The staff were friendly and we wanted for nothing.... more

stayed here 14 nights on business trip. after the first two nights the constant stream of weddings with accompanying music and dancers taking over the main lobby became a minor annoyance. the hotel has a wide choice of restaurants but none of them seem to serve much in the way of low-stodge food - expect to come back from your... more

The hotel limo failed to meet us (apparently as we arrived on an internal flight from Luxor) so we arrived in a shared "banger" to some amusement. Staff were very friendly and helpful but the hotel is externally a little tired. Half of the pool area was boarded up for more building. The views are spectacular but it is not... more

Looked nice in the brochure but on arrival we noticed half the pool boarded up as there was ongoing construction - great - a hotel next to a building site. The rooms were VERY tired and the staff seemed eager for tips. We stayed here for the Pyramids (which you could see from the room and pool) but if we... more

Firstly this review is not a whinge but an objective account of my stay here. We stayed at Le Meridien Pyramids as a family of 6 in June 2008 for 4 nights. We arrived at around 1:30am after fighting our way through the Cairo traffic from the airport. Our standard rooms (3 of them) were allocated upon arrival but we... more

I recently returned from a trip to Egypt. We stayed at Le Meridien Pyramids hotel at Giza for 4 nights. We were lucky enough to get a room with a view of the pyramids just outside our window. The room was good and the hotel itself was first class. The pool was excellent, the restaurants in the hotel very good.... more

The Le Meridien pyramids is an ok hotel, but its exterior look, interiors and especially elevators show that it has been quite some time since this hotel was built/renovated. The best thing about the hotel is the view you have from the pool area to the Pyramids of Giza. However, due to the same reason, location, you also have to... more

Got back last night following brilliant stay at Le Meridien Pyramids. We stayed for a week as part of my husband`s birthday celebrations, and we`re glad we picked this hotel. We booked a pyramid club room, which was well worth the extra cost, as the view of the pyramids was stunning. Why no table on the balcony though ? We... more

Le Meridien is what it is. It's a big, resort style hotel. I can't say I have spent much time in hotels like this so my review might not count for much. We ended up staying there through the tour package that we purchased. As far as hotels go, it was nice. The food was great. The employees were very... more
