lovely hotel, fantastic nile view from the room. the noise from the road isnt that bad when you get used to it, and its quite fun to watch the traffic (its mad). the breakfasts werent brilliant, but we found that the evening meal that we had in the hotel was the best of the trip. friendly staff, very clean rooms.... more

this is a lovely hotel only opened in 2006, rooms clean and if you stay on 6th floor you will have a great view of the nile but word of WARNING the breakfast is the worst i have ever had so bad it became a joke. cornflakes with a bannana now this caused problems as i was asking for extras... more

I stayed at the new pola hotel from 7th jan to 21st jan 2008 . My room on the 6th floor had a Nile view as promised ! Have just returned from two weeks at the New Pola on a half board basis. The rooms were basic but extremely clean having been cleaned every day. The staff were efficient and friendly. The views of the NIle from the rooftop pool were spectacular. The food on the other hand needs sorting out. The breakfasts were extremely basic and limited.... more

Beautiful multi storied hotel, with clean rooms and spotless bedsheets. Staff was pleasant and helpful. There was absolutely no pressure to take the hotel's tours. This hotel was brilliant we went back in augast 29th and it as inprooved there now is a room that has a computer for gusts and a desent sized snooker table and the pool is really cool and refreshing.The staff is good and really nice with people the food is exalant.i went with my parants and i met my boyfriend... more

The staff are miserable. The food is terrable. Nothing gets cleaned. Theres mould and scum in the pool. Theres nothing to stay here for. Its a disgrace. Sunmed holidays should take it off its list of hotels. We have visited Luxor three times and never had a bad hotel untill we stayed here. The view from the rooms are great... more
