I have stayed at Ciputra three times. In comparison to Le Meridien, Crowne Plaza and Alila where I have also stayed numerous times, Ciputra has the edge in terms of proximity to the airport. I had a three day stopover in Jakarta, and stayed at the Ciputra. Being a westerner, I did have some background concerns about saftey, but never once gave it a thought at this propertry. I have just returned from a 3-night stay at Ciputra Jakarta. Chose the Ciputra as it looks classy and has an adjoining shopping mall.
