if u intend to stay in this hostel, please bring your sleeping bags and sleep on the floor instead of the beds as the japanese bedbugs are really vicious! I have stayed in many hostels before in europe and the UK but never had I experienced this standard of hygiene. THe bed bug bites all over my body had became... more

I had a wonderful time exploring the 'last wilderness of Japan' in Shiretoko National Park with my partner and spent one night in this youth hostel. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English which made communication a breeze.
