Our stay at the Waling Waling was in May 2008 for 6 nights. Everything was nice from the start. The return transfers from Caticlan airport to Boracay was well organised. A member of staff greeted us at Caticlan airport and they had their own Waling Waling catamaran boat waiting for us in the jetty port. They gave us all welcome... more

I couldn't have imagined a more perfect place for my vacation...it was wonderful. This place is much better than many of the other hotel options, as it is far enough away from the noisy, crowded areas, yet still close enough to walk to dinner or a night out. And it's one of the best spots on the beach, with a... more

Ive been wanting to stay in this hotel since last year but it was always fully booked. Finally, we were able to get a reservation this year and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is very well-maintained, the amenities were great. They always filled up our refrigerator with complimentary water...and the bathroom with toilet paper, soap, etc. The food was... more

My family with grandparents and an uncle stayed here for 4 nights in Jan. 2007. What made our stay positive are the following: 1.) Station 1 hotels are less crowded and thus more relaxing (feeling of seclusion), bigger beach area, calm tides. 2.) Cabanas are excellent. We had our own the whole day where we took naps, ate lunch and... more

I have stayed in this resort with my family and even friends for so many times already. Kept coming back because they have one of the most beautiful beach front plus the cabanas where you can just relax the whole day. The staff are always friendly & helpful. Rooms are very well kept. You can also enjoy a good massage... more

The Waling Waling resort is as good as the pictures posted on their web page. Nice big room, wonderful view over the ocean and the hammocks just in front of the restaurants are just made for chill out. (Do not forget to book them in advance though!) The only downside for European Globetrotter is the breakfast, that clearly needs improvement... more

My fiance and I stayed at Waling Waling in mid December 2007. (The hotel has a special place in our hearts because that's where we got engaged!) For us, two things made Waling Waling stand out: the beach and the cabanas. As far as beaches go - the sand, the water, the palm trees - Station 1 is the place... more

I stayed a Waling Waling with a couple of co-workers. The room was ok, nothing really to write home about. However, when you walk out of the hotel, you are greeted by the most beautiful beach. The sand is called sugar sand and the water is crystal clear. I spent most of my time in a cabana or laying on... more

As much as possible, go through a travel agency instead of contacting the hotel directly. Do not expect immediate response to your enquiries BUT after you book they will pester you with emails to pay! Its normal with Boracay hotels to expect full payments BEFORE you arrive. Oh, and dont expect that the resort staff would know what your package... more

Verdict: Find some place else. There are a lot of choices. Not worth your headache. 1.Forgot airport pick-up: Waling-waling forgot to send an airport pick up for our party of six. Luckily, we are locals and we were able to book a ride to the terminal. But the airport pick up was part of the deal. How did Waling-Waling resolved... more
