Boracay..WOW, that would an understatement of a lifetime. Being just married,me and my wife decided on Boracay for our first trip together(many, many to follow!) Upon surfing, i remembered from my stay in the Philippines this site and came across Artista. I booked very fast, a deluxe room,12 june -21 june, just 2 or 3 days prior to our arrival.... more

This hotel is excellent. The staff were very friendly and took the extra time to make our stay special. Alelia and Keith made us feel very welcome. The rooms are extremely clean and the power showers are very efficient! There is a short walk required across the beach to get to the hotel but Sam, the transport man made sure... more

I was supposed to stay at a resort on the main beach (Fridays). Fortunately I changed my mind and found the Artista. It's not a resort, so much as, a small, well kept, boutique hotel. The rooms were large, clean, minimal, wifi, hot shower, satellite tv.... A gracious staff. Always smiling. Allowing your privacy. The hotel is on a smaller... more

Arista is a little slice of heaven on earth. If you want a relaxing and peaceful getaway, this is a the place. Nenita and her staff go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. The service was excellent and unobtrusive. The rooms are more than adequate and the showers were amazing. The location is... more

My wife and I just returned from 6 nights at Artista. The staff at Artista is amazing. They do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Most of our stay, my wife and I were the only ones staying at the resort. Our last night there we got to take part in a party with all of the employees.... more

We stayed at Artista for 10 nights at the end of march 2008. Jimmy introduced us to the boracay society - a mix of native filipinos and interesting foreiners. We got the feeling of being part of the boracay spirit. A wonderful expierience, which we shall not forget! Thank you for this. more

We love visiting Boracay every time we travel to the Philippines. During our third and recent visit this past January, we made plans to stay at Artista having stayed at Nami the year before. We discovered Artista during our second time to Boracay and fell in love with the place. Artista reminded us a little bit of Santorini because of... more

Me and my husband had an excellent time in Artista earlier this month. The hotel's location is great and especially suitable for those who are like us - prefer to stay in a quiet place (which is a Diniwid Beach) but with an easy reach for the noisy parts (White Beach's bars/restaurants). We were met at the airport by the... more

My wife and I joined friends of ours to enjoy a wonderful stay at Artista in March 2008. As mentioned in the reviews below, Artista is located on Diniwid which is a cove round from the much busier White Beach. It is a 10 minute walk on a path that takes you round the front of the rocks. If you... more

Artista is great place to stay. My husband and I stayed for 11 nights in Feb-March this year and had a truly relaxing time. The staff are friendly and helpful and we never had the sense that we were being handled or scammed. In fact they really couldn't do enough to make our stay a memorable one: buying us crabs at... more
