We stayed only one night here before our return to Australia. We moved from the InterContinental because of the guaranteed 8pm check out in the Club rooms. We were offer an upgrade to a larger Club room - the only problem was it was a smoking room and we had requested a non-smoking room. The room had been "de-smoked so... more

Stayed for my one & only night in Singapore. The hotel is now looking dated and in need of upgrading though the rooms are very pleasant & comfortable. However, in my opinion one of the key benefits to staying at a top class hotel is for the concierge service. However, not only could the concierge not get me into my... more

We stay in this hotel every time we visit Singapore and the service is why. We are always given the warmest welcome back and have just loved every room we have ever had. Now it's even better! One note of caution is that there is construction going on near the harbor side of the hotel right now so a harbor... more

Using the hotel internet site I booked a four night stay in a Deluxe King Room and a round trip from the airport in a Mercedes S-Class. A very friendly driver was waiting for us at arrivals and we had a beautiful trip to the hotel. A whole line of employees greeted us by name when we arrived. We were... more

I actually preferred this hotel to the vastly more expensive Ritz-Carlton next door, where I stayed on my last visit to Singapore. Of course, it can't match the RC for sheer sumptuousness, but it is cosier and feels as though a lot more effort went into the decoration and furnishings. Despite the Oriental's huge size, the tasteful rooms and well-equipped... more

I read previous reviews and was looking for a nice break at the end of a work related trip. To unwind a bit, I booked a Club room and found that it was worth the extra money. Room wise, the Fullerton has a better feel, though I could hardly argue with the view I was given, looking straight at the... more

Recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental for 4 days on the return journey from the UK. We arrived early (9 am) and our room was not ready but the hotel staff were excellent. As it was going to be 4 hours before we could get into our room we were upgraded to a suite with views overlooking the Marina. The... more

We stayed for 2 nights in February. We had a great stay, upon check in we asked for a late check out, and were offered an upgrade to The Oriental Club package, which gave us a late check out and loads of extras - basically free food and drink all day in the Club Lounge. We signed up for that,... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights en route to Shanghai and 5 nights on the way home to Sydney. We have been to Singapore many times and have stayed at most major hotels represented. We always book for the Club floor (this is important) as it is a home away from home. The Club Lounge... more

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days and we absolutely loved it. The entire hotel staff was very polite, friendly, and catered to our every need. The restaurants were great, especially breakfast at Melt the world cafe. The location was perfect as you can walk to the major attractions or take the MRT to anywhere in Singapore. We... more
