We stayed in this cozy hotel last yaer and considered an excelent experience. The staff was very kind, giving tips about things to do and how to go where we wanted to. It is about a 15 minutes walk to the closer metro station (Los Leones) and from stores, markets and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable and... more

having reviewed Trip Advisor we tried to book Orly but it was full so went for Bonaparte. Good price but many problems on check-in - toilet seat broken, aircon not cooling (as others have said) but the staff were really great and resolved everything. Breakfast was average - a bit boring. Worth the price but nothing to shout over more

We actually connected with the Hotel Bonaparte through the tour operators we were using, Santiago Adventures. The hotel is lovely. The rooms are quite "basic", no frilly bits, but everything is spotless. The room size was large and it had everything we needed. The location of the hotel is great as we could walk into Providencia for dinner. The best... more

I stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte as part of a doctoral group visiting from Washington, D.C. It's in a great location and walking to the Los Leones metro stop was very convenient, as were the other stores. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and very efficient. The breakfast buffet was incredible and the restaurant staff was too. I will definitely... more

My partner and I stayed at Bonaparte Hotel last month for over a week (February, 15th to 23rd). When we arrived there (around 6 pm), the staff told us that our reservation was for only one night instead of the eight nights as I had booked. Besides that, the eight-night reservation should have been for a queen size bed and... more

Can't understand reviewers who complain about having to take taxis from Hotel Bonaparte to Los Leones metro station - what a wimpy lot you are!! It's a 10-minute walk along a very pleasant tree-lined street and the upside is that you're in a very peaceful, green part of the city. We loved the Bonaparte - it was very comfortable and... more

The Hotel Bonaparte was our first stop on our South American trip. The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood of tree lined streets and large mansions, but a good 15 minute walk to the main strip in Providencia, however Taxis are cheap and plentiful. We were first shown to rooms on the top floor of the hotel, that were directly... more

We stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte for two nights during our trip to Santiago. Compared to the other great hotels we stayed in while traveling in Chile and Argentina that we found through great TripAdvisor recommendations, this was the only hotel that we were a little bit disappointed with. The staff was very prompt, reliable, and nice. We found the... more

hotel and tree lined neighborhood are pleasant, but hotel staff are extraordinarily inconsistent, ranging from helpful to blatantly rude. Definitely will not stay here again. more

I spent the first three nights of my month's stay in Chile at the Hotel Bonaparte, Santiago. The hotel was a great introduction to the city! Although it was a bit of a walk to Providencia and to the Los Leonos subway, I enjoyed staying there and using it as a base to explore Providenica and Downtown. The room was... more
