This is really a lovely place....nice grounds, pool, rooms, breakfast, adequate location. BUT......I had my IPOD and flashlight stolen from my backpack while it was in the room. This was a great hostel in Arequipa. It is quite far from the Plaza de Armas, however there are alot of great nightclubs & resteraunts within walking distance. Chose this hotel from reviews on here and the Lonely Plant. Great gardens and a nice breakfast but the bathroom was so small you couldn't even stand in it dry yourself. The room was small and the bed extremely uncomfortable. Wouldn't recommend this place. Certainly not value for money. more

Very nice place. Clean and safe. We had a lovely room with view of the gardens for 47 US $. People at front desk were friendly and helpfull. we ended up staying 3 nights. Best place we stayed during our trip! more

The other reviews present get a good view of La Casa de mi Abuela. Here's what I'll add: - We got a garden jr. suite for $45 and were glad we did. The garden rooms are newer, nicer, and brighter.
