Really loved this hotel, stayed four nights here in March - 2 nights on way to Macchu Picchu and 2 on the way back. I fully agree with other comments on the site, you must book a "Colonial" room - there are only 16 of these rooms built around the old courtyard, the other 80 rooms are in a new... more

My husband, myself and our 2 boys (ages 7 and 9) had a wonderful room in the colonial section of this hotel. We had a large room which included a loft with 2 twin beds for the kids. The room was clean, quiet and charming. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. My mother also had a room in... more

When I arrived at the small airport in Cusco I was surprised to find a young lady with my name on a board in the Novotel booth. She said she was there to take me to the hotel and had a van and driver outside. I got into the van and we rode to the hotel. I was directed to... more

The hotel was good for a stay in Cusco and good for the price. We stayed 2 nights after visiting Machu Picchu. The concierge service is great. The room we had was fresh and clean. It was made up as soon as we left and the room service was good. The complimentary buffet breakfast was adequate, good choices of anything... more

The hotel atrium (not thr reception which is very standard) is really beautifull and welcomes you witha a very good impression. As you walk ito the rooms hallways everything changes. The rooms are too standard and without any sense of style. I would reccommend much more the "Hotel Monasterio" which is amazing. Cusco city is really worth visiting, it is... more

the public areas are unusual and very attractive. Breakfast choice was limited but adequate. Typical buffet dinner available, however, there's also an a la carte menu which is worth trying. more

There is a terrific amount of activity (we arrived from Lima at about 6am and the lobby was heaving) yet it manages to permeate calm. The colonial rooms were spacious, the staff efficient and unusually for a hotel of this category, the menu was good for snacks as well as meals - important when you get back in the evening... more

We stayed at this property 3 times over a 3 week period. For the first stay, we had a dreadful room....dark, hot, tired and in a corner. Since the hotel doesn' t have airconditioning, we had a fan put in the room. It helped a little, but we had a very poor night's sleep on a soft mattress and a... more

We stayed three nights at the Novotel, two before hiking the Inca Trail, one after. On both stays we were lucky enough to be in the colonial section of the hotel. The rooms were huge. The location was superb and the staff was amazing. We made extensive use of the concierge staff -- for laundry, advice on mailing things back... more
