We stayed at Los Apus for three nights before the Inca Trail and one night afteward, before heading back to Lima. This place was absolutely perfect. It's adorable and clean - lots of character, natural light, interesting decor, etc. The staff were outstanding. Pleasant and helpful at all hours of the day/night, spoke great English, etc. The coca tea/restaurant setup... more

Peru for Less booked this hotel for us and we were absolutely delgihted. We stayed in Room 203 with a balcony over the street. The architecture was interesting, we had an alcove above our bed with a red tile roof and open beam cielings wrapped in animal hides. It was very romantic. The service was excellent, everone spoke English well.... more

Jan 2008 - The first night we arrived we told reception that we would be out for a couple of hours and our room had no safe to put our expensive electonics in. We were told the hotel was secure, and not to worry so we left for the evening. The following morning we realised our room had been robbed,... more

On January 17th, 2008, you did check in at the hotel around 2.40pm with your Peruvian female company. At 4pm you did leave the hotel, asking if we had a safe for your values, which we do. You have been informed so and, despite it, you strangely decided NOT to leave your electronics in it, and you did just leave...

My wife and I, who were both 30, and my parents who were in their mid-50's, stayed at Los Apus through the travel agency Culturas Peru, which I believe owns the hotel. Although it was a little difficult to sleep because of the noise, the rooms were very nice and clean compared to the other places we stayed in Peru.... more

Dear Donald, Just to inform you that the hotel is not owned by Culturas Peru. King regards and thank you for your stay.

I stayed here on recomendation from a co-worker and have since recomended the place. A great value for the price. The location is superb close enough to the main square but without the noise. I stayed in outward facing room, that had a great view of the colonial steet. more

Our other hotel in Cusco put us up here when they were not able to provide our reserved room upon our return from Machu Picchu. For the price we paid, this is a very nice hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional. Although we arrived late and got probably the two worst rooms in the house, they were still... more

We arrived in Cusco and were expecting an airport transfer from the hotel instead we were picked up by a woman from an independent travel agency who brought us in a local taxi. We didn't mind as we achieved the same result but en route she asked us our travel plans and began to try and sell us tour options.... more

I stayed four nights at Los Apus on vacation to Cusco/Sacred Valley. This is a small hotel and I asked for a quiet room and was given a very nice location on a higher floor away from the stairwell and courtyard that have more traffic. Its location is only a 5 minute walk from the main plaza and is close... more

Dear friends at Los Apus, Thank you very much for all your help and kindness during our stay at Los Apus. We did stay there for our honeymoon. Without asking for anything, we were recieved with a champagne bottle in our room with a little kind note from the hotel staff, whishing us the best for our new married life.... more

We stayed here for three nights and just loved the place. Atmospheric architecture - a lovely central covered courtyard and higgledy piggledy floors and stairs. Clean rooms; lots of hot water; firm comfy beds; nice view of the steps/alley out the window; front desk staff who couldn;t do enough to help us find tour guides/contact locals/check flight times/draw maps for... more
