We liked this hotel and, as stated before, it's got a good location. We walked several times to and from the Main Plaza and at no time did we feel it was dangerous. Always lots of people around. It's very close to the theater where you can see a folkloric dance show (free with your tourist coupons). There is a... more

A great little hotel it had everything good food, good staff, nice clean rooms an excellent restaurant. It has a great position with a ten minute walk to the town centre and so much to see within the immediate area. Another hotel to return to if ever that way again. more

We stayed here twice. The first two nights we had a room overlooking the courtyard which we loved. When we returned from Machu Picchu our room overlooked the road at the front, but was still fine and surprisingly quiet. It is very comfortable and very clean. The hotel is a fifteen to twenty minute stroll from the main square (just... more

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights at the Jose Antonio. The rooms are decent and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is quite simple, there's a small selection of breads, fruit etc. The location is ok. It's not as close to the main square (Plaza de Armas) but it's about a 15-20 min. walk. The hotel is,... more

We were booked through OAT travel, two nights first, then two nights after Machu Pichu. First stay was ok, they booked us on the 5th floor. Second stay was bad. They put us in room 210 which is right above the restaurant. Unknown to us, there is open ductwork from below right into our closet. There was a party the... more

A good clean hotel with very helpfull staff , a couple of reviewers have commented on its distance to the main square but its really only a 10 minute walk maximum. My travelling companion slipped and had a bad fall on the reception floor (another guest had dripped water there from an umbrella) the staff couldnt have been more helpful... more

A good quality hotel a little off-centre as other reviews have commented. The walk up to the Plaza des Armas is not far but perhaps better done by taxi at night given Cusco's reputation, although we had no trouble. A taxi is only 5 soles so it's no big deal. Our room had a good view up Avda del Sol,... more

I can't rate the price of the hotel since we were upgraded by our travel agency because of a reservation error. Overall, the rooms, lobby, and other facilities were clean and well maintained. It deserves the four stars it boasts. The atmophere is quite fancy given Cusco standards. There are only two problems that I can find with the hotel.... more

We stayrd three night here and enjoyed our stay. We had breakfast daily which was well presented and more than adequate. The hotel is located right across from a large market selling all kinds of souvenirs. One evening we walked up the street and had excellent woodfired pizza at Romano's. This stay was arranged by Lima Tours which was excellent... more

The hotel and rooms are very nice and it legitimately deserves four stars. My only complaint about this hotel is that it is quite a long walk up Ave de Sol to the main square. I would recommend staying in a hotel closer to the square or in the San Blas neighborhood. more
