The Melia is in a rather odd location between the main districts of tourist interest. However, it is quiet, clean, modern and well appointed. You can reach the historic downtown area in 30 minutes by cab in traffic (much quicker on a Sunday) and the Miraflores district is even closer. The outdoor pool is very small but the business facilities... more

We were at Melia Lima in May and were put on the The Level, an Executive floor. It has its own check-in desk on the 9th floor with its own restaurant and bar. There was free afternoon tea from 12noon to 6pm, and an open (free) bar from 6pm to 10pm. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room... more

Stayed in this hotel for three nights in April 2008. The rooms are small, but comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean. The rooms facing the street can be noisy if you open the window, otherwise it's fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, it's decent, but nothing to brag about. The hotel is located in a good... more

We stayed her twice in August 07 as a family 2 kids 7 and 11. The hotel is OK nothing special but clean reasonably close to the airport and not too far 15 minute cab to Miraflores. There appears to be nothing in the immediate area to tempt the tourist. The rooms are adequate for a short stay. The breakfast... more

This is a very nice hotel; clean, modern, comfortable. It is an excellent choice for a Lima overnight layover on the way to Cusco, being that it is fairly close to the airport. For a lengthier stay, not sure I'd recommend it, as the area is not the nicest. more

At first sight, the hotel is quite nice. When the front desk staff asked us for a credit card our 16 year old friend decided to put down her new credit card - which she had never used before or since (she got it for this trip!), not even to get cash out of an atm. The short story is... more

I spent some time here in May 07 , Aug 07 and Dec 07as well. Its always lovely to return to this very friendly hotel. The staff always smile and even remembered me when I returned. The reception speak good English are very courteous and helpful. Rooms are smart and clean but it is a shame you have to pay... more

The Melia Lima is a functional and adequate hotel at a busy (and sometimes noisy) intersection. The staff are very pleasant, but ill-equipped to deal with special requests. The hotel does a poor job of marking and segregating smoking and non-smoking areas, even failing to clearly mark non-smoking guest rooms. more

A very good hotel to stay in Lima if you are just passing by from one city to another or for business. The food is delicious and the hotel has all the services as a European hotel. The rooms are spacious, very clean, enormous bath. The building is all new and a bit far from the historical center but in... more

First, about us. We have traveled the WORLD. We have been to every corner and have seen everything staying at only the very best hotels. OK, not really. Not even close. But we have been to the Melia Lima and it's top shelf! We really enjoyed our stay at the Melia. The other reviews are accurate...the food, the friendly staff,... more
