I stayed here two years ago when i first went to Peru to backpack the country for 5 weeks. It was definitely a good hotel to start off the trip since after that it was all hostels. I really enjoyed my room and the courtyard and the breakfast was also very good! It was nice and quiet which i wanted... more

This hotel is a quiet place in such a loud and busy city! The rooms are nicely done and large compared to other places I stayed in Peru. The decor throughout the hotel is beautiful, and the central courtyard with fountain is also beautiful! The store offers great gifts besides the typical tourist souveniers, plus the hotel is filled with... more

We booked this hotel because it was described as a converted colonial mansion in a quiet and secure neighbourhood. We had two rooms during our visit, both spaceous, clean, comfortable and secure, and both looked inward onto a pleasant courtyard off which the breakfast room was located. Unfortunately, the first room smelt slightly musty and if the windows were left... more

I had spent a great deal of time thinking about where to stay in Lima and so was disappointed to find we were "redirected" at the aiport- to another hotel (having booked months ahead of time). Hotel Antigua did arrange for our pick-up and passed on a note to say they were having problems with their laundry room. The hotel... more

There is nothing particularly wrong will this hotel but it is nothing special either. In it's time I imagine it was a beautiful colonnial hotel but nowadays it is a little tired. Our room was very big (no. 35) and overlooked the lovely little courtyard. However, the hotel did smell a little damp and was rather cold. A plus point... more

Stayed at this hotel as this was where my tour group was starting from. I loved this hotel. Huge rooms with large bathrooms. Great courtyard with the most fabulous flowers. The enitre hotel was filled with the amazing smell from the flowers. Great fair-trade shop in lobby. Great place to pick up souveniers and you know that it goes back... more

I booked this room during my stay in Miraflores in the middle of May because of the location and the cost. The reservations department was not very helpful. I had to contact them a couple of times to arrange the room. They would not respond to my e-mails, but I was persistant because the rate was good for Miraflores. Another... more

We had booked this hotel for 2 nights, although we only stayed for one. Our flight (LIM to JFK) did not leave till 11:50 p.m. so we thought it was worth the extra $$ to have a room for the day while we explored the neighborhood. Of all the hotels in which we had stayed during our trip throughout Peru,... more

We stayed there for 3 nights, in the begining of April. Stayed in the Colonial section of the hotel (99 USD double room). Very nice hotel, quite spacious room. Very quiet. Nice breakfast. It is really safe neighbourhood. Free internet in the reception. 5 minutes walk to central plaza (Kenedy square) 10 minutes to the sea (and all the famous... more

The hotel was very pretty, with a great lobby area and pretty front grounds, and a beautiful courtyard that we looked out on. The room was basic, but fine. The bed was pretty comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a hot shower. It was easy walking distance to everything in Miraflores and on a street that was quiet and... more
