Holiday Inn Montevideo is a small aging hotel in need of cosmetic repairs and updating of shower heads, hairdryers, etc. Our room was spacious but the TV didn't work properly and their 'fitness center' (advertized on their web-site) was unacceptable. In a mounth I spent many days at Holiday Inn in Montevideo, that was a sort of "stop&go" for our journey between argentina and south brasil. I always had clean, fully equipped and wide rooms. Service (especially reception) was great..they really never said us "not possible" and the maids were always present and punctual. Good breakfast included and great position... more

This is an ageing downtown Holiday Inn in central Montevideo. Carpets and furnishings are grubby and worn, which said it may be as good as it gets in Montevideo... The rooms are spacious and modern with plenty of amenities. The king-size beds were very comfortable. Our group of five had two rooms, a king superior room and a diplomatic suite.
