We were quite satisfied with our room on the sixteenth floor which had a spectacular view over the city. There was also a mini-fridge, TV and the bathroom was spacious. The Rodina Hotel is an average hotel. Typical old 'eastern block' would be a reasonable description - by that I mean it was probably a good standard hotel a few years ago but hasn't been updated. I liked the Rodina. Another reviewer said you wouldn't get anything like it at a comparable price in the US - but what we paid for a week would get you half a day in a US hotel. We don't go on a citybreak to spend a lot of time in the hotel, so it doesn't have to be great.... more
