The Rex is overall OK . Rooms are better then expected if one judge from the lobby, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Bathroom clean, but too spartan. This hotel has been newly renovated and the room we stayed in was exceptionally nice. Unfortunately the workmanship is a bit shoddy in places (one shower door was hanging off and one blind did not work) so best to visit now rather than later when more repairs might be necessary. Excellently located near the station and walking distance to most of the city.
