The rooms in the this hotel are great, we loved the view of the canal and the pool is very nice. But the location is quite isolated - to get into the city you have to take a cab, too far to walk.. We have also (in 6 months of travelling South America) never come across such rude front desk... more

Good position right on the entrance to the Panama Canal and worth paying a little extra for a Canal view room but beware that some have restricted view because of a large tree in the grounds. Stayed here as part of an Elderhostel tour of Panama and the Panama Canal. The room/suite was "cookie cutter" furnished, but huge. Bed was comfortable, other furnishings in good shape.
