Central to almost everything in Panama City -- only a several Balboa (dollar) cab ride, we will stay there again when we go back to Panama. Not fancy and there may be no TV, but watching the animals and listening to the birds more than compensated. A very reasonably priced place, we also booked all our tours thru La Estancia.... more

We stayed at this B&B in January 2008. After our flight it was a little hard to find - located on Ancon Hill above the canal's Administration Building. This B&B is wonderful. Whilst this is not the most luxurious place you will ever stay in, this B&B is friendly, cheap and interesting and is well worth a stay. Just came back from Panama last week. Spent 4 nights at La Estancia, then another two after a quick trip to El Valle de Anton. We cant praise the staff enough for their help and advice. If we were to go again we would stay there, but not select a room with it's own balcony as we didn't use it... more
