This hotel is an embarassement to the name "Sheraton" and do not expect what you get at other Sheraton's worldwide. When you walk in you will feel as if you have entered a time capsule and been transported more than 50 years into the past - the building and decor are very outdated!! The hotel was clean, but the beach... more

This place was a very poor representative of the Sheraton brand. The rooms are tiny, the decor depressing, and the amenities lacking. This place needs a serious amount of renovation if its to continue to enjoy being a Sheraton in my view. Check in was slow and uninformed. My Gold level in SPG was ignored. Though the room was clean,... more

I had high expectations for this place given the Sheraton name, but ended up with a disappointment. * Room: Surprisingly small and shabby for a 5-star hotel and for the accommodation charges. My room had some sort of a wooden wall. I could hear the people in the next room. Toilet is small and tiles are old and pale green.... more

Good location, average service. Greart Pool and Nice Sea View , that if you are lucky to get a sea facing room. We had booked two delux rooms with queen size bed for 2 families. On arrival we had to wait for an hour to get room and that too we got just one room with two seperate beds .The... more

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as part of a coach tour of northern Egypt. How on earth they can say this is a 5 star hotel is beyond me. Possibly 4, but no way 5. If you stay here make sure you get a room with a sea view - the view is amazing. We were fortunate in... more

The room was clean but shabby. The staff hardly speak any English and argue with each other. Service terrible. The swimming pool is grotty with traffic whizzing past. The whole place has a depressing air of neglect and basially needs refurbishing. Worst of all the filthy dining room, my husband got food poisoning from the buffet. Give this place a... more

Within Alexandria, this seems to be universally regarded as one among the best properties. However, its probably what I would call a good 4 star hotel...but 5 star...uh huh, I don't know about that! The positives. The views of the Meditteranean are amazing. The room did come with a balcony (a lerch is more like it!) which offered great views... more

We definitely enjoyed our 2-night stay in early January at this high-rise hotel on the far eastern side of Alex, just west of the Montazah Gardens. We were welcomed with hibiscus tea, a gracious gesture that we did not experience at the other places we stayed at while in Egypt. The service was excellent, too. From our room balcony we... more

The hotel is well located at the end of the corniche but away from all the attractions. Definitely you need to hire a car or a driver to visit the city and that's we did. For a sheraton chain, this hotel is far away from our sheraton in the States in terme of design and everything, but the service was... more

Lobby of the hotel looks like a dilapidated building in the Marcy Projects. After check-in I went up to my room to sleep. They gave me 2 beds instead of the king in requested. Each bed was about as wide as a balancing beam, a quarter of a turn in either direction and you're on the floor. The pillow felt... more
