I dont usually use 5 star hotels so my report could be a little out of place as I am not used to many luxuries. But reports about Fairmont being 3 star are not accurate, I would not wish to their authors to stay in proper Dubai 3star... . But anyway - you will meet great staff in Fairmont, helpful... more

Stayed at the Fairmont on a leisure break New Year 07/08, having stayed at a beach hotel the previous year. They allowed us to check in at 08:00am (a bonus after a night flight). We were in a standard 'Fairmont Room' - not as modern as I thought it might be, but large enough with a nice bathroom. Pool areas... more
