We stayed there for 3 nights in April 2008 and had a wonderful experience. We had two rooms communicating through the bathrooms, which was great as we were travelling with our two daughters (7 and 9), one room with twin beds and one with king bed. The rooms were well equiped, although the furniture could have been more comfortable, especially... more

There is 2 Angkor Village Resort in Siem Reap. Our travel agent has booked the one in Phum Traeng for us. The architecture of this site is very Asian with plenty of plants, flowers with water feature also. People might use the word Tranquil to describe the place. This is definitely is the case as there is nothing near the... more

The hotel looks good and clean, but out of 4 nights we only mannage to sleep one.The villas are on 2 levels,no insulation,so if you have the 1 st floor you are at the mercy of your neighbour abbove. We were awaken all the time by the noise of mooved chairs. Then we mooved, but the new room was in front of the air... more

The property is very attractive, as are the rooms. It is well located in terms of the Angkor Wat and the other temples. Having said that, the service was terrible. The staff is largely comprised of young Cambodian women. They smile and are pleasant, but their English is very weak and they are unable to give a visitor the lay... more

We arrived in Siem Reap on Christmas Eve Day, me, my husband and our 15 year old son, from Bangkok, on a two week visit to Thailand and Cambodia. We stayed at a delightful hotel in Bangkok and were prepared to be underwhelmed in the more remote and less cosmopolitan city of Siem Reap. We were wrong. The Angkor Village... more

From the moment we stepped into the Angkor Village Botanical Resort lobby we felt we were in a world of luxury. The Cambodian staff was gracious and helpful and we were treated to a lovely cool drink while our rooms were being readied. We were a party of 7, with 4 rooms, and each room was clean, beautifully decorated, and... more

This hotel is managed by a French team who is keen to provide a personalized service. They organize weekly drinks with the guests from the hotel in a beautifully laid out garden. There is an amazing swimming pool of 250m long which is very pleasant. The food is good and I highly recommend doing a room service for a lunch... more

The Angkor Village resort is outstanding. The room was extremely comfortable, and the long swimming pool that runs along the rooms was outstanding. We loved the geckos that we found on our walls each night when we returned to our room, and the plants and butterflies on the grounds were amazing. We had a blast sitting at the bar where... more

This review is for the Angkor Village Hotel (on Wat Bo) - as there are two locations. Stay at this one. It has a strong sense of place vs. the strip like hotels/high rises on Airport Road where all the tour groups stay at. You are greeted with the warmest smiles and sincerest bows. The establishment is minutes away (by... more

hotel architecture and rooms are amazing. Breakfasts lovely. Staff so attentive and nothing too much trouble. Imagine swimming in pool that snakes around bungalows morning and night. Cocktail receptions. Its quite a bit out of town but most tuktuk drivers don't know it, so charge you the standard fare ! more
