The Shinta Mani is just a delightful place to stay. It has a really calm chilled atmosphere. The building is of colonial style and such a change from your standard chain hotel. It has up to date modern facilities, a lovely pool area and friendly attentive staff. The room (with a/c) was a very good size and the bathroom facilities... more

As we had decided to spend 5 nights at Shinta Mani after it had been recommended to us by a relative, we really hoped it was going to be good. We knew that the staff would mostly be very young and many still in training, which could possibly have meant that there would be the occasional hiccup. What a pleasant... more

Spent 4 nights here to give us two full days to see Angkor and to take a trip to a family to whom we had donated 2 piglets through the hotel's community scheme. This is: 1) a lovely little hotel with spacious and well-designed rooms, a great spa for massages and other treatments, lovely little pool and decent restaurant AND... more

My wife and I stayed at Shinta Mani for 3 nights in April 2008 on the recommendation of my brother who had stayed there a year before with his family. From the moment we arrived the hotel met our every expectation and we just loved the welcome with cold towells and tea and the gentle, hospitable and caring young staff.... more

Great little hotel to come back to after a day of visiting the temples in the hot hot sun! Service was always with a smile and all staff were impeccably polite. Shinta Mani trains young locals and is very involved in community projects. Why not stay at a gorgeous hotel which gives back so much to the community? more

A lady who used to live in Cambodia recommended this truly sensational hotel. It is worth every penny, accomodations, food, service just incredible. Lush gardens surround this hotel, located in a quiet small street. The hotel has a wonderful SPA (not sex oriented). Treated myself to a 2.5 hour treatment, got wrapped in banana leaves. Don't forget to eat at... more

Shinta Mani is more than a hotel it is an experience. The small 18 room hotel is absolutely exuding with charm. The pool and spa were the best I found. I looked at the other higher priced hotels but wanted something with a bit more character. The beautiful tree lined street is a nice retreat away from the hustle and... more

With the huge increase of hotels in and around Siem Reap, you can certainly find a more luxurious hotel - but it would be difficult to find a better Experience than Shinta Mani. As a hospitality training center, the hotel may have a few rough edges - mostly because the staff in training is often timid or are just learning... more

A very well managed hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Very good internet facility. Bar and restaurant service is a little slow presumably due to staff training but the food is good quality, especially breakfast. Would definitly stay here again. more

Stayed at the Shinta Mani for 5 nights, thought it was lovely. By staying here you are helping youngsters to get training in the hotel industry.. very worthwhile. Food and rooms lovely, spa fabulous. One small complaint room 110 a little noisy (its near the resturant so when the staff start at 6am, if you are alight sleeper they may... more
