Booked through asiarooms.com for $42 per night. Nice large room with all the standard amenties i.e. fridge, tv, aircon. Nice bathroom with shower and seperate bathtub. Large balcony and comfortable bed. The pool is awesome, it is huge and has a swim up bar. The pool was wonderful to come back to after a day of touring. The breakfast buffet... more

We booked it through Asiaroom.com and got the room at SGD53 per nite only. Very impressive room- new, clean, comfortable bed, balcony and pool view. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices. I think the location is acceptable though it is slightly further from old market and pubstreet. Anyway it is still within walking distance of 15 minutes.... more

We booked the Somadevi through the Travel Agent in the FCC Phnom Penh. $37 for a Pool View Double, complete with balcony. Room had cold fridge, great A/C, comfy bed, clean and spacious bathroom. Lobby service was great, rarely did I open a door myself, and the included buffet breakfast was fantastic. We rented a tuk-tuk for the day, went... more

I like the services provided at the lobby. The staff will carry your begs to your room. The lobby staff will also give you a wet towel and soft drinks when you come back to the hotel after your visiting. Nothing to comment about the room. Fair. Not much to see outside the hotel. more

The 4 star Somadevi Ankor is well located, easy walk to most of the good restaurants in town. The 5 stars places tend to be out of town. We paid US$90 for a "delux" room for two with breakfast (a good one, buffet). This is well below the posted rate but was arranged by out tour guide. He told us... more

The property is still working out a few kinks here and there, but for the most part our stay was pleasant. Our room overlooked the pool area, which was very nice (although there was a great deal of viewable (and quite noticeable) construction going on next door during the day. The beds were undersized but, then again, I'm a 6-5... more

I stayed at the Somadevi for 4 nights as a solo traveler in November 2007. There appeared to be many new big hotels in Siem Reap on the long road into town from the airport. Somadevi is one of them. PROS -Good location in Siem Reap on one of the main roads and within walking distance to some good restaurants,... more

With around U$50 and get a good location hotel (ard 10 min walk to old mkt), plus up to standard cleaness, I can said it is worth the price. As for the breakfast, normal and nothing special, but who care as there are so many restaurant and cafe in siem reap. The best part that I would like to highlight... more

Great location in Siem Reap for eating out in the evening and visiting the temples. Nice, quiet pool and well appointed rooms. Helpful staff. Don't use the overpriced hotel internet. more

My husband and I stayed at Somadevi Angkor courtesy of my wonderful aunt and uncle. (we would not normally stay here on our flashpacker budget.) Rack rates here start at $100 per night (but can drop tremendously during low season), breakfast buffet and airport transfer is included. Our king size bedroom was spacious, and I really appreciated how the airconditioning... more
