Back to Cambodia, I could have had more and more choices of where to stay but I decided to stay at Viroth hotel again. I have noticed a few changes... the deco has changed a bit which surpised me at first but enjoyed it even more than before. The breakfast has changed too since my last visit and now i... more

The hotel room was attractive. I didn't use the pool or jacuzzi because they were dirty. Breakfast was disappointing it consisted of overly runny fried eggs, minimal fruit, and warm juice. The room design more than makes up for this. The staff, short and simple: have no respect for private property. I went to breakfast and returned to find $100... more

This place was the most luxurious on our jaunt through Cambodia and Vietnam. At $US70 a night, it's very pricey for Cambodia but it's worth it. The design of the hotel is in it's own league - the room is beautifully and tastefully modern. The pool is gorgeous and the bar/breakfast area on the roof lovely in the sun. Only... more

Viroths is a soothing respite after the intensity of Angkor Wat. The rooms are decorated in a minimalist style, which actually is a great contrast to the sights, sounds and smells of Siem Reap. The staff were cheerful and helpful, and very accommodating to any requests we had. The salt water pool was great to relax in after long days... more

I stayed at Viroth's for 4 nights while I was in Siem Reap. It was such a quiet and elegant, yet funky retreat after a long day at the temples or wandering the markets. I was so pleased to call it my place while I was there... everyone was so accommodating and friendly, and the salt water pool was nice... more

This review is dedicated to their friendly yet helpful staff, owner and the superb minimalist approach to the hotel/room design. The hotel is petite but lovely with a salt water swimming pool, rooftop bar/dining area, jacuzzi (didn't get to use it though) and wireless connection, if you need one. Say and Sokha have been very helpful and accomodating to our... more

Great hotel, about a 10min walk downtown eating area, 5min walk to their great restaurant.Rooms were very large- and the bathrooms were great- 2 sinks, separate area for toilet, shower was huge and modern. Big fan in room and AC that did work. We stayed for 2 days staff was very helpful and the 2nd day booked a car service... more

I stayed at the Viroth in early May 2008 for 3 nights and this is my review. 1. Room cost USD70.00, very comfortable. I stayed at room no. 7, the only one with a view of the pool. 2. The staff are very helpful and nice, just like other Cambodians. 3. They only have one mini lounge cum breakfast area... more

Cambodia was the next step after Bangkok in our Asia/Pacific big trip. We took two numbers on the ground floor. #2 is more lighter than #1, but both of them have big terraces. There is a sea-water design pool with little waterfall in the hotel. And it's very important for Cambodia, because it's very, very hot! Breakfast terrace is on... more

Stayed for 4 nights and I was allocated room 5 which was on the first floor. I agree with all the comments about the modern feel of the place and the friendly staffs but I felt I was being over looked by the people from the opposite hotel and I had to keep the curtains closed most of the time.... more
