This is an ideal hotel to stay in if you're going on a cruise to the glaciers, or have just disembarked from a cruise. It's walking distance from the port. You absolutely do not need a taxi. We were very disappointed with the Hotel Isla Rey Jorge. The room was very tiny, the room definitely was not clean. The ground floor rooms look out onto a parking lot, the manner in which the windows open doesn't afford one a sense of security as it seems anybody could just climb in and steal a laptop, we were reluctant... more
