There isn't a single property, including the pricey Remota, that has a better view....although not from your room. It is very expensive but so is everywhere else in Torres Del Paine. It is dated and is in need of redecorating. The walls are thin but we weren't there when the place was packed. I'd suggest asking for one of the... more

The overpriced hotel was in a beautiful setting with fantastic views of Torres del Paine and the green lake. The rooms needed updating and the rickety bridge that has planks missing needs major repairs. The buffet table served overcooked pork and undercooked beef. The fruit salad was soggy and was even worse when they served it the following morning. We... more

Thia is not a place to take possessions you value. The hotel staff dropped our suitcase in the lake even after being warned of the risky methods they were using to take it over the bridge. They managed to retrieve the bag with a pole. (The fact that the pole was handy suggests that they are used to such happenings.)... more

The only good thing about this hotel is the great view of the Torre del Paines mountains. Everything else, from the small and dirty room to the very expensive and tastless buffet dinner and breakfast is just awful. Avoid it at any cost. Stay at the CostAustralis hotel in Puerto Natales that is an excellent hotel and do the visit... more

As others have written the view is why this place is still in business- the rooms are marginal- small, not particularily clean and the bathrooms are ancient. You are here for the view! breakfast was OK, dinner - fair at best. Service was uneven- probably due to seasonal nature of hotel - breaking in new staff - etc. I wouldn't... more

Right - where does one start when reviewing this hellhole. Firstly, its got a spectacular location - second to none. Secondly, that the only positive - sorry, everything else is just shocking. The room was horrific. We paid $220 for a room that quite simply you would not get in a $30 hostel (I know - I stayed in one... more

We stayed at the Hosteria Pehoe for one night during a 19 day tour through Patagonia. We were a group of nine friends and family, ranging in age from late twenties to mid fifties. We traveled throughout with a Chilean guide and driver. All accomodations were arranged by the guide at our request and ranged from camping (though not backpacking)... more

We were staying at hosteria torres del paine, which was way overpriced (food, room etc.) We came here for a gorgeous view, very friendly people, cheap internett/satellite tv (it was the superbowl-the only satellite around) and delicious reasonably priced food. I cannot speak for the rooms but the location is beautiful and very very very desolate- an 8hr bumpy ride... more

We had not originally been booked into this Hosteria and were not impressed initially. However, the location and views are stunning, especially from the Dining Room and public areas. We spent ages just sitting and looking at the weather changing over the Torres. However, the rooms are very varied. The "standard" rooms are barely adequate with no views, little space... more

The view from Hosteria Pehoe is breathtaking. The restaurant where all meals are served has large windows and I enjoyed the wonderful view at all meals. See my photos for evidence! Most rooms have good views. My room was of average standard, bathroom was small. If you have no hot water in the bathroom, call the reception, they may have... more
