Definitely beyond my expectation. Service was excellent, all the staff were very friendly and were always smiling, the hotel and the room was very clean and fresh, the bed were exceptionally comfortable. Stayed at the Sofitel just for one night on a recent trip to Xiamen. Having stayed at the Sheraton as well, I believe the Sofitel comes out on top in the sum of all things. Stayed here for my first business trip to the city, and used our corporate rate. The hotel is very new and nicely fitted with modern decor. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. I would highly recommend a stay here. more
