Our 25th wedding anniversay trip started with Carolina at Metropolitan Touring. She made all of the arrangements and everything went smoothly. She was attentive and responsive. We did a seven day package which included four day trips on the hotel boat. First rate crew and the luncheons on board were extraordinary. The locations were great as they including hiking, birds,... more

This is a wonderful experience in an awesome setting. We took our family; we're in our sixties, and two children in their late twenties/early thirties with their significant others. We all agree it was the best vacation ever. We did the eight-day/seven night package and felt it was worth every penny. Because of the desire to preserve the environment the... more

We were very skeptical as we had originally booked into the Royal Palm but had problems with our cruise being overbooked so we were put into the Finch Bay instead. However, we loved the Finch Bay and thought the location was far preferable to our original selection of the Royal Palm. Starting with our only negative, the rooms were very... more

Relatively small hotel. I went with fifteen other people and there were only about two other families there. If you have kids it may be better than staying on a boat, but the day trips are lengthy. If you really want to see all the Galapagos has to offer a boat may be better. The food was good and the... more

We stayed here for 5 nights in April 2007 following some time in Quito and a cruise round the islands. We were tired from travelling as we approached the Finch Bay and found the silver sands of the secluded private beach a real tonic as we approached. I cannot fault the service, food or accomodation on any front. The sight... more

We stayed on the 5 day package at this hotel in December. It was a wonderful experience. The room was fairly basic, but the hammock was devine. The restaurant was good and the food varied and interesting - only criticism was that there was too much! The organised trips from the hotel were excellent, using the hotel's private yacht. The... more

Stayed at this hotel over the Chrsitmas holiday and booked the package with Gate 1. This vacation was worth every dollar paid. The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to constantly assist us. I note the comments about the meals, and found the meals very good. There are people at this hotel from all over the world... more

Stayed for 3 nights in October 2007. Nice rooms excellent location. We had little time to explore because of tight tour schedules. Breakfasts were good as were the meals aboard the Sea Finch yacht when doing the tours. The hotel was badly let down by it's evening meals and service at the meals. I am probably one of the easiest... more

My two children and I spent 8 days at the Finch Bay Hotel this past August. It was a wonderful experience. We loved every minute of the time spent. The hotel's trip planner, Lourdes was super nice and very attentive. Our guide, Mario was also wonderful, and helped make our various day trips educational and fun. The rooms are very... more
